A “label-license” or “IP-included model” enables universities to realize the value of their intellectual property, gives licensees additional means to market the technology, and encourages end-users to incorporate the technology. Case in point: The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Sigma-Aldrich® have recently entered into an “IP-included” license agreement which enables Sigma-Aldrich to expand the range of a powerful class of boronic acid surrogates offered to the global chemistry community. The university’s senior technology manager, Lisa Dhar, was instrumental in inking the deal, and on December 7 she will share a wealth of best practice strategies in this 60-minute, interactive webinar: IP-Included Label Licensing: A Win-Win Model for Maximizing Use of University Technologies.
