Funding for early-stage technologies has dwindled to a trickle as investors in the current economic climate shift their focus to more mature, “de-risked” technologies. This poses a great challenge for TTOs and academic start-ups, many of which face a grim future – or no future at all – without seed and follow-on investments.

But necessity is the mother of invention, and many TTOs, start-ups, accelerators, and others with a stake in a vibrant new venture environment are finding creative, highly effective alternatives to securing the dollars needed to kick start new technologies and new businesses.

That’s why Technology Transfer Tactics’ Distance Learning Division has partnered with The Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) — a start-up accelerator that helps Georgia technology entrepreneurs launch and build successful companies. In fact, the center’s specialty (and passion) is finding and creating funding sources for early-stage technologies.

ATDC execs Paul Freet and Keith McGreggor will share their expertise, offer practical advice, reveal lessons learned, highlight critical success strategies, and review pertinent case studies to help you get the funding you need to move your technology forward. Join us for this 90-minute program where the presenters will share:

  1. Creative bootstrapping funding strategies
  2. Little known grant funding opportunities revealed
  3. How to take full advantage of SBIR opportunities
  4. When a partnership is the way to go
  5. Tapping into angel funds
  6. In-depth examples of creative funding strategies that have helped launch successful companies
  7. And much more…
